Good day everyone! If you happen to be reading this, I assume your on this blog to browse over my clips, which can be found on the HOME tab. However, this particular section outlines the person behind the words–me!
Nevertheless, here is a bit about myself…
Abraham Lincoln once said “whatever you are, be a good one.” I genuinely believe and feel I embody this quote, written by one of the most distinguished and evolutionary Presidents, to date.
I also believe that God provides people with certain skills and whether one uses them or not is solely up to them.
My skill, one of which I have acquired and practiced over the years, is researching and writing about history, politics, public policy, etc. This is what I have chosen to purse, relentlessly.
I am a 20-something recent graduate from the University of Colorado, where I graduated in Public Policy and Administration and Political Science.
I lived in Magical Nebraska for two years and Sexy Colorado Springs during college, but decided to move back to Denver shortly after, and I now currently reside in Colorful Colorado!
While I do plan to stay a while, ultimately, my future residence reads as "pending" (which basically means I'm hoping to move to Washington DC). I love sunny days, anything outdoorsy (what Coloradan doesn't?), challenging the usual agenda, promoting a positive mind set, lemonade, and listening to mellow musical beats- random mixture? I think so!
Ever since I was eight years old, I have always dreamed of writing and giving voice to those who cannot themselves while upholding the values that this country was found upon. Today, that dream lives on, and one day, I eventually hope to turn my dream into a reality.
My love for writing, photography, motivational words, and above all, the United States deepens everyday, and now finally, the four have come full circle, as I attempt to chronicle my post-grad life. I will use my past experience- divorce, death, etc (you will read about it)- to be a step stool of strength for my future. While I don't know where the wind will take me next, I do know I will at least get there with a positive attitude.
